- Bedding Set Plastic Containers – You know the ones, the clear zip up bags that bedding comes in. These are ideal for storing yarn for so many reasons. My favorite reason to use these is, you can see what color you are looking for without ever opening the bag. These containers make it super easy to store in a closet. They keep some of the dust from getting on your yarn. Best of all they hold a ton of yarn. And did I mention they are free. I mean you were gonna through that bag away, anyway right!!!
- Fabric Bins – Fabric bins are another great option because they are affordable. They can be stacked facing out, so that you can see all of your lovely yarn options at one time. You can choose bins in colors to match your decor.
- Bookshelf – Most of us already have a bookshelf. If you don’t you can get a bookshelf for $20-$25. You can just stack the yarn on the shelves or you can pick up Dollar Tree organizing containers to put on the shelves.
- Hanging Shoe Organizer – These organizers are extremely affordable. You can hang them in a closet and you can see all your yarn in these as well.
